Random image found

I was poking around my PC last night and found this image. Nothing too exciting. It's obviously a knife, but I was curious if that's what the Japanese writing states. Does it say what kind of knife?

Anyhow, I found another interesting picture that I won't post yet. I have to show it to some fellow developers first to get their thoughts. I have no idea where or when the image was given to me. But it would be a dream come true if the museum was able to get it. Now if I could remember where that image was...
