Random image found

I was poking around my PC last night and found this image. Nothing too exciting. It's obviously a knife, but I was curious if that's what the Japanese writing states. Does it say what kind of knife?
Anyhow, I found another interesting picture that I won't post yet. I have to show it to some fellow developers first to get their thoughts. I have no idea where or when the image was given to me. But it would be a dream come true if the museum was able to get it. Now if I could remember where that image was...
Sorry for the boring post. I doubt many people read this drivel anyways.

Halloween is approaching...What do you want to be?

Halloween is coming fast. What do you want to dress up as? How about a Zombie from Resident Evil? I've been in the zombie mood lately and can't get enough RE.

Summer off? Autumn coming.

I haven't posted on this blog since April. Probably because there hasn't much to say. If any PlayStation fanboys are reading this blog, the Museum could use your help immediately. The Museum is looking for individuals who can create and supply screenshots to PlayStation games as well as writing short game descriptions.
If you are a former PlayStation 1 developer or publisher, please contact the Museum today. The Museum is interested in talking about your past experience with the PlayStation and how you contributed to the history of the PlayStation.

Joystiq and GameSetWatch are so friggin cool

The PlayStation Museum just recently posted information on the cancelled Superman for PlayStation. Who picked up on the post? Joystiq and GameSetWatch. (http://www.joystiq.com/2007/04/22/superman-64-almost-had-an-evil-twin-on-the-ps1/) The Joystiq post was by far the funniest. Honestly though, the game is pretty cool. Sure beats the hell out of the N64 version.
But I'm still holding my breath for the day that I get to play Dark Guns. Destoying buildings like the world trade center (pre 9/11 of course) or Big Ben is cool. In fact, did David Jaffe borrow some of those ideas from another unreleased shooter??!?!?!! Time will tell.

I'm no Superman

I have been so busy lately that I haven't had time to update this blog, update the museum website, nor even play much of Quake III Arena (yes, I still play it believe it or not). I did come across the Superman animated series on DVD at Amazon. When was that released? I remember that cartoon was fairly decent. So what else is new? Well, actually a lot of new developments have happened over the past few months, but the museum is conducting thorough research before posting anything. Expect a major news break approximately a week before May 4. One of these days I need to talk to David Jaffe after CAC is released and he has a short break.

At the movies there was this video game

I was at the movies the other week and in the arcade room they had this arcade game with a pull down viewer ala submarine periscope. I have seen these before and they are so cool. I think the arcade game gave the user a choice between two games. I forget the titles, but one was Beach Head 2002. Next time I visit I need to bring quarters and try it out. The games looked HOT!!
