Ghost Rider!

Who isn't getting ready for the onslaught of this summer's movies? It seems the ball gets rolling early with the release of Ghost Rider. At first I wasn't excited about the movie, but after watching the trailer about 3 dozen times, I'm pretty psyched to watch it. So naturally what happens? I was granted permission to play the CANCELLED version of Ghost Rider on the PlayStation!!! I was told Ghost Rider used the Skeleton Warriors engine before hand. I remember Skeleton Warriors as being a tough 2D action game that had very good graphics for an early PlayStation game. I got excited when I heard this. Then I sat down and gave Ghost Rider a whirl. First off, the chain mechanics are spot on. Whipping and whirling your chain was fluid and easy. As I progressed through the level I immediately compared the experience to Castlevania, which wasn't released on the PlayStation for a few more years. I think the gameplay could have given Castlevania a run for its money! For one thing, Ghost Rider has 3D rendered backgrounds which would allow the character to go around corners and go in and out of areas easily. Anyhow, the demo was actually pretty kick ass for not even being close to the alpha stage. It really sucks that the game wasn't pursued further. Visit the museum website to see screenshots and a video of the demo.

Teaser Video of a Shoot'em up & U.S. Gold's LAST GAME!

That picture of the beach below that I referred to in my last post, the unveiling is on hold until I get word (or no word after a length of time) from the copyright holder in order to post screenshots and video of it. Pisses me off a little bit because it throws off my whole schedule. But ANOTHER surprise gmae was donated to the museum this week and it's a doozy. It's not Dark Guns, but let's just say it will get you excited for February 16th. Check out the PlayStation Museum website for a preview this weekend!!!

Aw hell, for those that visit my blog (which is no one??), enjoy this exclusive video of a yet to be announced Shoot'em up. I decided to release a teaser video after I announced on David Jaffe's blog about design documents and he replied thinking I had Dark Guns (which I DO NOT).

If you look at a previous post, you will notice a picture of a beach. That beach is not a real picture but actually from another shoot'em up game. Visit The PlayStation Museum late this weekend for screenshots, video, and a review of the game. I have been in touch with the developer and there is some interesting history behind the game. Can you guess what game it is? Leave a comment if you know.

The PlayStation Museum just posted exclusive video and included a review of U.S. Gold's last video game: Dream Team Basketball. Check it out! Never released.

Hold your wee for a wii. Woman dies from H2O intoxication. & View of a beach.

I just read on CNN that a woman entered a Hold Your Wee For A Wii contest at a radio station. Contestants had to drink water and the person who held their pee the longest would win a Wii console. A woman who entered to win a Wii for her 3 kids died when she went home from water intoxication. OMG. This is tragic and what's worse is she died for a freakin wii. A $249 dollar wii! Not a $800 PS3. I hope the radio station gets shut down.

In other news, I'm still going out of my mind without my PC. I'm hoping Newegg comes through Monday with my power supply. Anyhow, can anyone name the beach below? The picture may be from one of those live webcams.

Looks like a very inviting beach. There's suppose to be a huge ice storm coming this way so I really wish I were at that beach.

I hate PCs

I hate PCs!! I have been crippled ALL WEEK since my PC broke. I can't update the PlayStation Museum website. I can't upload my previews (and reviews) of games! I can't do crap. I'm on my lowly laptop which is slow as hell. My work area looks like a tornado came through with pieces of my PC all over.

Enjoy this picture which is how my monitor will look soon if I don't get this situation fixed.

Keep visiting the museum website. There are some GREAT things planned in the coming months!!
